Natalie Tyler is a fourth generation Atlanta, Georgia native. Ms. Tyler attended Georgia State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and graduated magna cum laude with advanced honors. Ms. Tyler subsequently attended Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, where she earned her Juris Doctorate. In law school, Ms. Tyler was actively involved in the Litigation Society, Criminal Law Society, Peer Mentor group, Candidate staff, Mock Trial senior board and the John Marshall law players. Ms. Tyler was selected for and served as an Assistant Head Peer Mentor and was also a founding member of The Candidate newspaper where she served as the Features Editor. She also interned with the DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office and the DeKalb County Public Defender’s Office, where she worked with indigent defendants.

Prior to joining Kessler & Solomiany, LLC, Ms. Tyler worked as an attorney at both large and small family law firms in Atlanta and gained valuable experience representing clients of all walks of life. She is trained as a trial attorney and a Guardian ad Litem and has been practicing family law her entire career.

In her relatively short career, Ms. Tyler has represented clients in hundreds of family law and criminal law matters in the Atlanta area including divorce, contested child custody, domestic violence, complex and high asset division, drafting of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, modifications of custody, alimony and child support, dependency cases, probable cause hearings and misdemeanor criminal cases. She has assisted high-profile clients and public figures in a variety of family law actions and understands the need for a professional and confidential approach to these matters.

Ms. Tyler continues to focus and specialize in this family law and especially enjoys helping clients navigate through what can be a very difficult time in their lives. Ms. Tyler has a passion for family law, and understands the importance of recognizing and adhering to her client’s needs and concerns. Ms. Tyler takes joy in serving as the investigative arm of the Court in helping determine the children’s best interests in contested custody actions. She gives back to the community by serving as a Guardian ad Litem for low income families on a pro bono basis. Her experience and training in the public sector has enabled her to develop an understanding of the specific needs of low income families.

When she’s not in the office, Ms. Tyler enjoys practicing yoga, running, spending time with her family and music of all varieties.
