Randy Kessler Discusses Potential Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Prenup

Kessler explained that when two individuals have significant personal wealth, businesses, endorsements, and other valuable assets, a prenuptial agreement can help ensure each person retains the property and income they bring into the marriage while establishing how jointly acquired assets would be handled.
Kessler also emphasized that prenuptial agreements have important legal limitations. While they can address financial matters, they cannot predetermine issues involving future children, including child custody, parenting time, or child support. He noted that these decisions must be made based on the child’s best interests if a divorce were ever to occur. Kessler added that while prenups are often associated with celebrities, they can also benefit individuals with significant assets, inherited wealth, business interests, or prior divorce experience, depending on their unique circumstances.
