Molly Teplitzky
(404) 681-2205
Biography
Ms. Teplitzky was born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut, however, she relocated to Atlanta in 2012 to attend Emory University, where she received her undergraduate degree in history. Staying in Atlanta, Molly attended Emory University School of Law, where she participated in the Transactional Law Certificate Program and further excelled in the Civil Trial Practice class, co-taught by Founding Partner, Randall M. Kessler.
During her first two years of law school, Molly interned for two local Estate and Business Planning firms. However, after recognizing that many clients had previously gone through the divorce process, Molly became interested in the legalities and intricacies of family law. As such, Molly clerked for Kessler & Solomiany during the summer of her second year of law school and throughout her final year at Emory.
Molly joined Kessler & Solomiany on a full-time basis, and upon her admission to the Georgia Bar in the Fall of 2019. Accordingly, Molly’s practice has been greatly influenced by the other, preeminent attorneys at the law firm. Further, having grown up with her accountant father and community professional and fundraiser mother as well as having worked with Estate Planning firms while in law school provides Molly with a unique insight into financial considerations that often arise in divorce and pre/post-nuptial agreement matters.
Having exclusively practiced family law, Molly understands that each client and case is exceptional, and that the individuals and the specific facts of each case need individualized attention as the outcomes affect the lives of her clients. Given that many cases require ongoing relationships with the opposing party, Molly believes that negotiations and working toward an agreement often leads to the best outcomes. However, Molly is also both a realist and rationalist and will not advise a position that is not in her client’s best interests or heed to unreasonableness. When necessary, Molly is not afraid to go toe to toe with adversaries and zealously represent her clients.
Outside of the work, Molly is a supportive wife and can often be found at airshows with her husband. She enjoys traveling, yoga, reality television, and spending time with friends, family, and her beloved pets, Phantom and Spectre.
