Nicolas Bammer-Whitaker
AssociateBiography
Born in Madison, Wisconsin, Nicolas moved to Atlanta when he was little more than a year old, growing up in Decatur with his parents and twin sister. After graduating high school from Westminster, he left Atlanta to obtain a Bachelor of Arts degree at Duke University, and then went on to earn his Juris Doctor at Columbia Law School.
Upon graduating from law school, Nicolas spent a number of years in New York City, working primarily on housing-related matters. In that work, he frequently represented individuals in very challenging situations, and became adept at helping clients navigate the often stressful and daunting process of litigation, while serving as a dogged advocate on their behalf.
Relocating to Atlanta to be closer to family and start the next chapter in his life, Nicolas worked at another family law practice before joining Kessler & Solomiany, and he is experienced at representing clients in a range of issues, including divorce, custody, child support, pre- and postnuptial agreements, legitimation, and contempt.
Nicolas strives to represent clients with understanding and compassion, approaching each client’s unique situation comprehensively, with clear analysis and meticulous attention to detail. He prioritizes establishing open and consistent communication with clients, so that they are fully informed and can make the best decisions for themselves and their families. Nicolas lives in Inman Park, and in his free time enjoys going for walks, playing board games, and spending time with friends and family.
