Randall M. Kessler
Founding Partner
Mr. Kessler currently Chairs the Family Law Sections of the American Bar Association and the Georgia State Bar. But his true passion is representing individuals in family law matters and he has been doing that since he started practicing law in 1988. He founded the firm in 1991 and has built it into one of the most respected family law firms in the country based on the quality of the firm�s legal work and service to its clients.
Marvin L. Solomiany
Managing Partner
Mr. Solomiany, a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a past Chair of the Atlanta Bar Family Law Section, has worked as a trial attorney exclusively in the area of family law for over 13 years. He provides representation in all areas of the firm's practice, with an emphasis on high-income divorce cases, prenuptial agreements, interstate child support and custody matters, and those involving corporate entities. Mr. Solomiany has represented athletes, entertainers, professionals and executives from Fortune 500 Companies throughout his career and is a frequent lecturer in both state and national family law seminars.
Louis J. Tesser
Partner
Mr. Tesser is a partner in the firm and a seasoned trial attorney of over fifteen years. He has been a general litigator, a prosecutor, and for the past nine years, has focused strictly on matrimonial law. Mr. Tesser is Vice Chair of the DeKalb Family Law Bar Association, and a Member at Large of the Atlanta Bar Association Family Division Executive Committee. He has spoken and taught frequently on topics in family law to diverse audiences, covering such matters as arbitration, paternity, divorce, and attorney�s fees. He is a certified mediator and arbitrator. Mr. Tesser is married to Lilia Tesser and lives with her and their daughters. Mr. Tesser enjoys tennis, travel, and is a private pilot.
Sarah McCormack
Partner
Ms. McCormack has been practicing law for ten years, and family law exclusively for eight. She started her career working for family law attorney Deborah S. Ebel at the downtown Atlanta firm then known as Long, Aldridge & Norman LLP, and joined Kessler & Solomiany, LLC in October of 2003 after being on the opposite side of a case with the firm�s now managing partner, Marvin L. Solomiany. Ms. McCormack regularly publishes family law articles � particularly regarding the newest appellate decisions � and she is a frequent speaker at Continuing Legal Education seminars on family law topics. She became a partner in the firm in December of 2010.
Dennis G. Collard
Partner
Mr. Collard, represents the firm's clients in complex domestic relations cases involving prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, divorce, child custody and support, alimony, legitimation and paternity. He specializes in cases involving complex financial issues, including the valuation and division of business interests such as closely held and professional corporations, partnerships and other business entities, and those involving professionals such as attorneys and physicians; cases involving extensive discovery and the use of financial and other expert witnesses; and complex child custody matters, including those involving psychological examinations and evaluations by court appointed guardians ad litem.
Rachel S. Shockley
Associate
Ms. Shockley, a 2002 honors graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, has devoted one hundred percent of her legal practice to family law since joining Kessler & Solomiany in 2006. Her prior experience in complex commercial litigation enhances her current practice as she regularly handles highly complex domestic matters involving closely held businesses, corporate interests, and significant financial assets. Ms. Shockley provides clients with excellent service in all areas of family law including divorce for all income levels, prenuptial agreements, postnuptial or reconciliation agreements, spousal support, child custody and child support issues. Ms. Shockley is a member of the Family Law Section of the Atlanta Bar and the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers.

David G. Sarif

Mr. Sarif has been honored as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star in multiple years. He has appeared on CBS Atlanta News and been quoted by national magazines such as Ok Magazine. Mr. Sarif is trained as a trial attorney, a collaborative lawyer, and a guardian ad litem. He is a frequent seminar lecturer and contributor for organizations including the American Bar Association, State Bar of Georgia, the Atlanta Bar Association, the National Business Institute, and Henning Mediation and Arbitration Service. Mr. Sarif was born in Cape Town, South Africa, raised in Atlanta, Georgia, attended the prestigious McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas (where he earned his B.B.A.), and subsequently attended Georgia State University College of Law where he earned many accolades.
Thad F. Woody
Associate
Mr. Woody has extensive experience representing clients in matters relating to divorce, child support, custody, legitimation and paternity. He has successfully represented a variety of clients including notable entertainers, athletes and high-profile executives. Mr. Woody is trained as a Guardian ad Litem and has performed substantial pro bono services on behalf of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation. He has also contributed to several seminar programs sponsored by the American Bar Association and the State Bar of Georgia. Mr. Woody received his bachelor of arts and juris doctor degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Sean M. Ditzel
Associate
Mr. Ditzel, a recipient of Super Lawyer�s Rising Star designation, has worked as exclusively in the area of family law since his graduation from The University of Georgia School of Law. His practice includes all areas of family law including divorce, legitimation, paternity, adoption, modification and contempt actions. Mr. Ditzel has handled many high-income and high-profile clients throughout his career, and is an active member and leader in several local and state-wide bar associations.
Lindsay B. Dodson
Associate
Ms. Dodson is an associate with the firm and is a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. Ms. Dodson has a broad range of experience representing and advisingclients in contentious and complex litigation related to divorce, alimony, child custody and support, separate maintenance, post-decree modification and enforcement, family violence , paternity and legitimation. Ms. Dodson has worked exclusively in the area of family law for over 6 years. Prior to joining the firm of Kessler & Solomiany in 2011, Ms. Dodson practiced family lawwith the firm of Weinstock & Scavo, P.C. Ms. Dodson received her J.D., with Honors, from Emory University, where shegraduated in the top 10% of her class and was inducted into the Order of the Coif and the Order of Barristers. Ms. Dodson was also the 2005 Emory University School of Law recipient of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Distinguished Achievement in the Art and Science of Advocacy.
Robert B. Miller
Associate
Mr. Miller began his legal career at Kessler & Solomiany as an intern while attending law school. After graduating, Mr. Miller worked as a Clerk at Kessler & Solomiany until taking a full-time associate position at a prestigious family law firm in Atlanta. In 2012, Mr. Miller returned to Kessler & Solomiany bringing with him a wealth of knowledge in matters related to divorce, child support, child custody, legitimation, paternity and adoption. Mr. Miller is extremely active in the Atlanta legal community and he is a member of the Young Lawyers Division and Family Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia. Mr. Miller graduated from California State University, Fullerton earning his B.A. and M.A. in History, with an emphasis in modern Germany and Holocaust studies. Mr. Miller subsequently earned his J.D. from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, where he excelled academically and was an active member in student government. Mr. Miller and his wife, Jessica, make their home in Sandy Springs with their son, Harrison.
